Scope
This page describes data handled when you browse grokbotlist.com, follow a link, contact us by email, or contribute to the public repository. The directory can be browsed without creating an account.
Website analytics and local preferences
The site uses PostHog and Google Analytics to understand page views, navigation, outbound-link clicks, and sponsor-card experiments. These services can receive ordinary technical request information such as IP address, user agent, device and browser properties, referrer, approximate network-derived location, page path, and event time. Outbound-link events record the destination domain and path, link text, source page, and whether the link is a sponsor. They do not intentionally include the contents of bot prompts.
Your browser's local storage may remember the light or dark theme and the sponsor-copy variant assigned for an experiment. Clearing site data removes those local values. Browser and network controls can be used to limit analytics collection.
Email and public contributions
If you email us, the message and address are handled by the email providers used to receive and respond to it. Send only the information needed for the request and do not include passwords, access tokens, or other secrets.
Listings and code contributions are maintained through GitHub. Published prompts, integrations, contributor information, source links, and official Grok Bot share URLs are visible on the website. Commit history and pull-request discussion remain available to repository collaborators. Official share links point to x.ai; this site does not scrape or rehost packed bot configurations or skills.
Service providers and outbound links
Cloudflare serves the website, PostHog and Google provide analytics, and GitHub hosts the public source repository and contribution workflow. Sponsor, integration, contributor, and source links are governed by the destination site's own privacy terms after you leave grokbotlist.com. The directory may reference public social posts or websites as sources, but it does not make private source material public on a user's behalf.
Your choices and requests
You can block or clear browser storage through browser controls and avoid putting personal information in listing or contribution fields. For questions or a request to access, correct, or delete data associated with you, email hello@grokbotlist.com and include the relevant interaction and approximate date. Some information in public Git history or security logs may need to be retained for integrity, legal, or abuse-prevention reasons.
Changes
This notice may change as the directory, analytics, or contribution flow changes. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.
