Shepherd

Installs Herdr if needed, then herds CLI coding agents on the Grok Bot computer and waits until they are idle, done, or blocked.

What it does

Shepherd orchestrates coding agents through Herdr on the Grok Bot computer. If Herdr is missing it installs it, then uses the installed CLI as the source of truth, waits until an agent is idle, done, or blocked, and avoids splitting work into panes that are too small to read.

How it works

  1. Check whether Herdr is installed. If it is missing, install it from herdr.dev.

  2. Use `herdr -h` and `herdr --skill` as the operating guide.

  3. Send coding work through Herdr CLI helpers and wait until the agent is idle, done, or blocked.

  4. If a pane would be too small, use a tab or workspace instead of splitting further.
