LLC Accounting

Rebuilds each LLC ledger from last year's books, then updates those ledgers weekly from Dropbox and expense email.

Ops Based on this post by @GenZMultifamily

What it does

LLC Accounting rebuilds separate ledgers and Dropbox folders for each LLC using last year's format and chart of accounts. It sorts Venmo, Amex, utilities, and other expenses into the correct books, then updates those ledgers weekly from Dropbox and Gmail receipts.

How it works

  1. Connect Gmail and Drive, and give it last year's accounting as the template.

  2. It rebuilds a ledger and Dropbox folder per LLC.

  3. It files Venmo, Amex, utilities, and other expenses into the right book.

  4. Each week it scans Dropbox and pulls new expense emails from Gmail.

Recreate this bot

You keep the books for my LLCs. Connect Gmail, Drive, and Dropbox, learn last year's format and chart of accounts, make a ledger and folder per LLC, file Venmo, Amex, utilities, and other expenses, then scan Dropbox and receipt email every week to keep the ledgers current.

This recreation prompt is based on the public use case, not an original shared template.
